MamaSaath (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website mamasaath.com and provides holistic postpartum support services to mothers, including emotional wellbeing support, wellness and nutrition guidance, baby and parenting care resources, career and personal growth coaching, and community programmes (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, book a consultation, or use our Services.

By using mamasaath.com or any of our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide to us

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and city, when you book a consultation, sign up for our free gift, join our WhatsApp community, or contact us.
  • Personal and family information you choose to share during consultations, coaching sessions, or counselling — including details about your pregnancy, postpartum experience, mental health, relationships, career history, or family circumstances.
  • Health-related information you voluntarily disclose during emotional wellbeing support, perinatal counselling, or PPD-related conversations with our care team.
  • Payment-related information, such as transaction references, UPI ID, or bank details you use when making a payment to us. We do not store your full bank account number or UPI PIN.
  • Any messages, forms, or feedback you submit to us, including through our website, WhatsApp community, or email.

1.2 Information collected automatically

MamaSaath does not currently use cookies, analytics tools, or third-party tracking technologies (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) on our website. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any such tools are activated.

Our website hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) for security and website performance purposes. This is standard practice for any website and is not used to build advertising profiles.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, schedule, and coordinate the Services you request, including consultations, counselling sessions, and coaching programmes.
  • Communicate with you about your bookings, sessions, or queries.
  • Match you with the appropriate care team member (perinatal counsellor, career coach, wellness expert, etc.) based on your needs.
  • Process and confirm payments made via bank transfer or UPI.
  • Send you relevant information you have opted into, such as our free gift, newsletters, or community updates.
  • Improve our Services, website content, and the overall MamaSaath experience.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your personal or health-related information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to third parties.

3. Sensitive Personal Information

Given the nature of our Services, you may share sensitive personal information with us, including details relating to your physical or mental health, emotional wellbeing, or family life. We treat this information with particular care:

  • It is accessed only by the specific care team member(s) directly supporting you (for example, your allocated counsellor or coach), and relevant administrative staff where necessary to coordinate your care.
  • It is not shared with employers, family members, or any third party without your explicit consent, except where disclosure is required by law (for example, where there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or where required by a court or law enforcement authority).
  • It is not used for any marketing or promotional purpose.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With our care team members (counsellors, coaches, wellness experts) directly involved in delivering your Services.
  • With service providers who help us operate our business (for example, website hosting providers), who are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
  • Where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Where necessary to protect the safety of you or another person, including in the case of a disclosed risk of self-harm or harm to others.
  • With your explicit consent, for any other purpose.

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to provide our Services, maintain our business records, and comply with our legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time, as described in Section 7.

6. Payments

MamaSaath currently accepts payments via bank transfer and UPI. We do not store complete banking credentials such as your UPI PIN or full card details. Please note that any payment app or banking service you use to make a payment to us is governed by that provider’s own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review it separately.

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and record-keeping obligations.

8. Children’s Information

MamaSaath’s Services are intended for adult mothers and parents. While our content and care may relate to your baby or child, we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any information about your child shared with us during a consultation is treated as part of your own personal information under this Policy.
